Cabin Fever 2026
Event Appreciation and Acknowledgments
Gratitude to All Participants
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the event, including attendees, vendors, fly tyers, conservation partners, nonprofit groups, and the dedicated PWWTU volunteers. Despite the looming threat of snow and the excitement surrounding the Olympic USA hockey team’s pursuit of a gold medal, our show was a resounding success. Attendance was excellent, and we saw an impressive increase in the number of vendors this year.
Celebrating Creativity and Engagement
The fly tyers captivated the crowd with their engaging demonstrations and showcased noteworthy creativity in their craft. Their enthusiasm and skill greatly enhanced the experience for everyone present.
Contributions of Conservation and Nonprofit Partners
Our conservation and nonprofit partners played a pivotal role by sharing valuable knowledge and expertise. Their involvement strengthened our community and deepened our collective understanding of environmental stewardship.
Volunteer Recognition
This event would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of the volunteers who organized, set up, managed, and dismantled the event. Special thanks go to Bryan Mathie, JJ Heranic, and Alex Charlton for their dedication, organization, and hard work in bringing the show together. We are also grateful to Ian, Roger, Christian, Ron, Nick, Eric, Tracee, and all the other PWWTU volunteers who helped deliver such a memorable event.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Sophia for her boundless energy, enthusiasm, and exceptional dog handling service, which added a unique and delightful element to the day.
Looking Ahead
Thank you once again to all attendees and vendors. We look forward to seeing everyone again for Cabin fever on February 28, 2027!
