Little Pine Creek Outdoor Adventures May 18-22

The newly formed Outdoor Adventures committee is pleased to announce a trip to Little Pine Creek during the period May 18-22, 2023.
All are welcome to attend. The basic idea is DIY camping and fishing with group social activities in the evenings. It’s obviously high season for trout fishing on Pine Creek, so you should reserve a site at the campground as soon as possible. (1-888-727-2757). Andy has reserved campsite #34 on the main loop. There are some tenting sites nearby. The Little Pine Creek Campground is near Waterville in North Central, PA. It’s a 3.5 hour drive from Pittsburgh.
Camping there gives easy access to Little Pine Creek, (big) Pine Creek, Slate Run and Cedar Creek. Kettle creek is an hour’s drive west. DIY camping means you provide all necessary equipment and food for the adventure. Andy will cook BBQ for a “pitch-in banquet” on Saturday evening. Please bring an appetizer or side dish to complete the meal.
