Fly casting with Joan Wulff (5-29-2020)

This from George Altemus:

Winston Rod Co has produced a 10-part video of Joan Wulff demonstrating basic and advanced fly casting techniques.  Joan was married to Lee Wulff, and was 20 years his junior.  She distinguished herself by beating all competitors in distance casting competition as a young woman who weighed barely 100 pounds. Her perfect form and maximum utilization of the mechanics involved in distance casting allowed her to cast further than men much larger and stronger than she. She was the National Casting Champion from 1943 to 1960, and made a record 161-foot cast.

She and Lee ran a flyfishing school at Lew Beach on the upper Beaverkill River in the New York Catskills.

Sadly, Joan passed away two years ago at age 82. FACT CHECK by Bryan Mathie: Incorrect, Joan is still alive and active at age 92.
