The lowly mop fly has hit the big time with an article in the Wall Street Journal. (Click Here for the article). These flies are so irresistible to trout that they have been banned from competition. (Ed note: collection that is for sale does not include any green mop flies. Lefty Kregh wouldn’t approve. He always said: “If it ain’t chartreuse, it ain’t no use”).
