PWWTU is seeking volunteer instructors to teach basics of fly fishing to women and men participating in an Outdoor – Afro program. The sessions will be on Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11 at North Park Lake (See schedule below).
Volunteers should be able to teach skills such as how to put a fly rod together, basic knots and how to do a 30’ cast. All equipment for the class is provided by PA Fish and Boat.
Contact the PWWTU Women and Diversity group ([email protected]) to volunteer and to be registered with PA Fish and Boat for the event. You must be registered to attend.
The sessions and locations are as follows:
Sept 10 Morning 8:45 -12N Orchard Pavilion 1-2 volunteers
Sept 10 Afternoon 1:15 – 4:30 PM Orchard Pavillion 5 volunteers needed
Sept 11 Midday 10 AM – 1 PM Babblebrook 5 volunteers needed
